Though physical fitness provides benefits at any age, research has proved that the older adults should remain as active as possible, without overexerting one’s self.

Regular Exercise helps you live a longer, healthier, and more joyous life and promotes an older adult’s ability to walk, bathe, cook, eat, dress, and use the restroom. If self-reliance is a priority, exercise is one of the best ways to maintain independence for older adults.

Exercise is crucial for older adults, but it can be hard to know where to begin.

Anna Pitan is a popular and regular face at Ekta Unity’s activities at St Paul’s Church Coventry, where she conducts light exercises sessions for our service users. However, since our activities have been closed due to Corona virus, Anna has continued to support us by making short videos for our service users to keep them active whilst they are at home and isolating.

Thank you Anna Pitan for all your help and support.
