As we enter #lockdown2 (from Thursday 5th November 2020 until Wednesday 2nd December 2020), we want our Ekta Unity Service Users to know that we are here for you all and to help you to get over this challenging period and lead a healthier and happier life, and be part of a strong community and benefit from the effective and sustainable health & care services that are available where and when you need them most.
Suman Ghaiwal-Chair of Ekta Unity said: “Please do not hesitate to contact any of our Trustees, Session Workers and Volunteers if you need any help or support, particularly those of you who live alone or are self-isolating or shielding during this period of lockdown. The upheaval caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) is all around us, and I know many of you are anxious, worried and confused. That’s absolutely natural. We are facing a health threat unlike any other in our lifetimes. Please know that YOU are not alone, however lonely you may feel. There is always someone to talk to and people who will listen. We need to look after each other”
Sanjay Jagatia-CEO of Ekta Unity said: “With the second lockdown likely to affect many of our service users & members, we want to remind everyone that Ekta Unity remains open virtually, to help with your ongoing healthcare and wellbeing. As we progress through this second national lockdown, we will – as always – remain on hand to support you and the things that are important to you”. #HereForYou
Suman Ghaiwal added: “We will get over this pandemic and the world after Covid-19 will be a better place, because we will all make it so. Until then, we must act together to slow the spread of the virus and look after each other. All of us have a responsibility to follow medical advice and take simple, practical steps recommended by health authorities”
“We are in this together – and we will get through this together”
